DJ Watts has been the resident dj at the hip hop lounge since it got started in 2001. The site was originally meant for a place for DJWatts to showcase new East coast hip hop for hisboys back home in the land of the lost (new Mexico). The hip hoplounge quickly gained a large following and was nominated for best internet hip hop station 4 years running (2003-2007). DJ Watts continues to direct all broadcasting for the station, but is looking to turn over the reigns of the wheels of steel to up and comming djs. Mr. CHOE the Chosen Host of Entertainment has been digging in the crates since 1990 when he first started buying 12 singles from tower records & bulk crates of used records from mobile DJs retiring the game.

DJ AZteca started back in the day at age twelve mixing at nightclubs in Mexico. During his teen years he sharpened his skillz at clubs and DJing at local parties. In High School he opened his own record shop and traveled around Arizona, California, Texas and Mexico spreading his SouthWest Funky Style and blowing away fake DJ's with his scratch techniques. In 2001 he joined the Hip Hop Lounge and debuted his southwest style on the internet. Nowadays he kicks it in Phoenix making shit hotter than the weather. He is currently laying down tracks for his upcoming CD which features his Southwest phunky style beats and local rappers, MC Lyrical and Lil Ants.
